Funding
Where to look forfunding in Bavaria.
Funding programmes exist for AI projects. Whether one fits depends on company size, legal form and the project. These are good starting points for companies in Regensburg and Bavaria:
- BAFA funding for consulting: aiworx is listed with the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) as a consulting company. Small and medium-sized businesses can therefore apply for a grant towards our consulting. We help with the application and paperwork.
- Digitalbonus Bayern: According to the programme website, the Free State of Bavaria supports small commercial businesses with premises in Bavaria (fewer than 50 employees, no more than €10 million in turnover or balance sheet total) with up to 50% of eligible costs: up to €7,500 in the standard version and up to €30,000 in Digitalbonus Plus. The programme runs until 31 December 2027, with applications released in monthly quotas. Liberal professions are excluded. Important: the project must not be commissioned before you apply.
- IHK Regensburg for Upper Palatinate / Kelheim: The chamber of commerce is a first point of contact for questions about funding and digitalisation in the region. Trade businesses can turn to their chamber of crafts.
